Patch Set 2:

To be completely honest, this has not been tested, but 2to3 does not find any major issue apart from those I've fixed, and there are only 3 blocking depencies:

- nose-exclude (only used for the tests);
- nosexcover (only used for the tests);
- openstack.nose-plugin (probably not a real blocker, see https://review.openstack.org/#/c/79735/)

I'm also able to build a virtualenv with all the requirements.

All in all, this seems quite reasonable to me. If this really is compatible with Python 3, it matters that we can add the right trove classifiers, since otherwise tools such as caniusepython3 (https://github.com/brettcannon/caniusepython3) will report this project as not compatible with Python 3.
